A dispute or chargeback happens when a client contacts their bank or card issuer to challenge a payment made through ReadyHubb. This usually means the client is unhappy with the charge or doesn’t recognize it, prompting their bank to investigate and potentially reverse the payment.

How Does a Chargeback Work?

  • The client files a claim with their bank to question the transaction.

  • The bank temporarily withholds the payment from your ReadyHubb account during the review.

  • Both you and the client can submit evidence to support your case.

  • The bank reviews all information and issues a binding decision.

Why Do Disputes Occur?

Disputes often arise because clients:

  • Don’t recognize the charge on their statement

  • Are dissatisfied with the service or product

  • Believe the service was not delivered as promised

  • Disagree with cancellation or refund policies
