A dispute or chargeback happens when a client contacts their bank or card issuer to challenge a payment made through ReadyHubb. This usually means the client is unhappy with the charge or doesn’t recognize it, prompting their bank to investigate and potentially reverse the payment.
How Does a Chargeback Work?
The client files a claim with their bank to question the transaction.
The bank temporarily withholds the payment from your ReadyHubb account during the review.
Both you and the client can submit evidence to support your case.
The bank reviews all information and issues a binding decision.
Why Do Disputes Occur?
Disputes often arise because clients:
Don’t recognize the charge on their statement
Are dissatisfied with the service or product
Believe the service was not delivered as promised
Disagree with cancellation or refund policies
