To set up deposits effectively on ReadyHubb, professionals have the flexibility to choose between fixed amounts or percentages, tailoring their deposit policy to their preferences. Deposits are an essential feature that protects professionals by securing appointments and minimizing the risk of no-shows. It's important to note that deposit features are only available with a subscription. Here's how to configure your deposit settings:

  1. Log in to the ReadyHubb platform.

  2. Navigate to your Profile.

  3. Click on Business Settings.

  4. Select Terms of Payment: Within the Business Settings, locate and select "Terms of Payment."

  5. Choose Deposit Type: Professionals can opt for either a fixed deposit or a percentage of the service cost.

    • Fixed Deposit: Set a specific dollar amount as the deposit. If the service cost is lower than the fixed deposit, clients will only be charged the service cost. For example, if a professional sets a fixed deposit of $50 and the service cost is $40, the client will only be charged the service cost of $40.

    • Percentage Deposit: Specify a percentage of the service cost as the deposit. Clients will be charged this percentage immediately upon booking.

  6. Cancellation Policy: After selecting the deposit type, set up your cancellation policy. Note that deposits are non-refundable. Clients forfeit their deposit if they cancel or fail to attend the appointment.

  7. Additional Payment & Booking Policies: It's important to add additional payment and booking policies. Clients should see these policies before booking.

  8. Click on Save and Continue: After configuring your deposit settings and additional policies, ensure to click on "Save and Continue" to finalize the setup.

  9. Activate Deposit Feature: The deposit feature encourages clients to commit to appointments, reducing the risk of no-shows. If clients miss their appointments, they forfeit their deposit, incentivizing attendance.

  10. Refund Policy: ReadyHubb does not issue refunds on deposits. If a refund is necessary, professionals must arrange it outside the platform.
