To enable Tap to Pay head over to the terms of payment section on the Readyhubb app, find Tap to Pay, and toggle it on. Make sure to review the terms and conditions first. Once that's done, you're all set to start accepting contactless payments with Tap to Pay!
How to Use Tap to Pay at Checkout
Go to Checkout
Start by heading to checkout select the relevant appointment and choose Tap to pay as your payment method. Add any products, extra charges, add ons, discounts or taxes to the transaction, then click continue.
2. Initiate the Transaction
Review the transaction then present your phone to the client. Here’s what they need to do:
iPhone Users: Have the client hold their phone or card horizontally over the top of your iPhone, near the contactless symbol, for a few seconds.
Android Users: Have the client tap their card or phone behind your device for a few seconds until the transaction is complete.
Pro Tip: If your client has a phone case that interferes with the transaction, ask them to remove it, and try again.
3. Wait for Confirmation
Once the transaction is processed, you’ll see a confirmation screen in Readyhubb. That’s it—the funds will be deposited into your Readyhubb balance.
Important Details to Know:
Tipping Options: Add the tip and any extra charges before processing the payment, tips are not available after the payment is collected.
Tapping Cards on Android Devices: If clients use a card with the Tap to Pay logo, they may need to tap it on the back of your phone for the payment to process.
